Florida Department of Law Enforcement Cuts 85 Jobs

FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) will cut 85 positions in order to maintain their crime laboratories. This is yet another Florida government agency that has been effected by the dwindling budget. The FBI, in order to fill in for the vacancies, is in the process of hiring around 3000 analysts and agents.

FDLE aids local police departments by preventing, investigating, and solving crimes. The agency has 1988 employees and was established in 1967.
