Jacksonville’s University of North Florida just completed “Operation Bad Trip”, which was a 4 month long investigation into drug dealing on campus. Eight students were arrested for sale of pills, sale of acid, possession of marijuana, and cultivation of marijuana.
This investigation relied heavily on “confidental informants” They are people working with police and they are used to set up others in drug deals. UNF has had 38 drug arrestes and incidents this year. In 2007, there were 53.
